Grateful on Giving Tuesday

Grateful: adj. – feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful

This seems to be the most fitting definition for how we, at Crystal Geyser, feel this time of year: full of appreciation for the overwhelming kindness we have received and experienced. We want to take the opportunity to recognize the people and places around us who have made it all possible and who have made us so thankful this Giving Tuesday.

Celebrating 40 years in business in California is a milestone that we are extremely proud of.  We are even more proud to share that over 40 percent of our current workforce has been with our company for ten years or more.  We are beyond grateful for our Crystal Geyser family, which also includes all of you.

Our customers continue to honor us by promoting, buying, and enjoying our beverages.  We thank you for joining us in a mission to deliver healthy, all-natural, refreshment to a customer base that is both loyal and growing. Our social media communities have seen exponential growth over the past year, and we are having so much fun learning about and engaging with those of you who enjoy our products. It has been truly rewarding to see our products through your eyes.

We also want to extend our utmost appreciation to our Chief Inspiration Officer – Cindy Clemens – for her joyful words of wisdom. Through her blogs this year, we’ve learned that joy can only fully be experienced with a sense of gratitude.

October 8th marked a very somber day that turned in to a 10-day nightmare for the communities of Napa and Sonoma Counties.  Our own hometown of Calistoga was evacuated for several days, and our operations were put on hold.  Many of our employees were evacuated and sadly some experienced total loss. We are extremely grateful that none of our employees were injured and that our production facility was not damaged.

This experience made us all truly thankful for the family and community within our own Company as we took care of our own and reached out to the larger community impacted by the fires. The CGWC Fire Relief Fund was established to raise funds that will be donated to the Sonoma County Resilience Fund and the Napa Community Disaster Relief Fund.  We are proud to say that we raised $17,520 with our employee donations and company match we are donating $8,760 respectively to each fund.

Today on this Giving Tuesday, we urge you to join us in giving and giving thanks to those people and places you 8appreciate. Whether you give your time, your money, or your talent, we know that the true gifts are in the act of giving itself – something for which the givers and receivers can feel grateful.
